Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were officially married on Friday, in a star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City, following months of secrecy and speculation. The event, confirmed by Swift's publicist Tree Paine at 7:30 p.m., featured Adam Sandler as the officiant, with no traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen; instead, Swift's brother Austin Swift served as "man of honor" and Kelce's brother Jason Kelce was the best man.
Sandler reportedly delighted the crowd with a 'funny' and 'touching' service. "It was very funny, quite a long speech. I think everyone had a good time," he said
Both the bride and groom wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture outfits designed by Jonathan Anderson, with Swift's look marking the designer's first couture wedding dress for a high-profile celebrity; her jewelry was by Cartier and shoes by Christian Louboutin.
The wedding hosted about 1,000 guests, including a vast array of celebrities from music, film, and sports such as Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Stevie Nicks (who performed), Bradley Cooper, Hugh Grant, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Steven Spielberg, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Tom Brady, and numerous NFL stars.
Despite the massive scale, attendees described the transformed arena as an intimate "secret garden" with peach-colored decor, where the couple exchanged self-written vows that were both emotional and charming.
The Empire State Building lit up in blue as Swift's "something blue," and the couple donated $26 million to charities, including $2 million to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. The celebration extended late into the night, with the MSG jumbotron displaying "JUST&T MARRIED," a nod to their shared initials.
Security was intense, with street closures and heavy police presence to manage the crowds of fans and media outside during a heatwave.
