SpaceX Crew Dragon Endeavour autonomously docked with the International Space Station (ISS) at 0627 UTC at the space-facing port of the station’s Harmony module, welcoming four astronauts aboard. Docking occurred approximately 14 hours and 43 minutes after launch from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A in Florida, marking the fastest Crew Dragon rendezvous to date.

Hatches between Endeavour and the ISS opened at around 0746 UTC, as NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov, all floated aboard the space station.

The astronauts were welcomed aboard by the Expedition 73 crew, including JAXA’s Takuya Onishi (commander), NASA astronauts Anne McClain, Nichole Ayers, and Jonny Kim, and Roscosmos cosmonauts Kirill Peskov, Sergey Ryzhikov, and Alexey Zubritsky. The Crew-11 astronauts are set to spend six to eight months on the ISS, conducting scientific experiments and station maintenance, relieving the Crew-10 members who will return to Earth shortly after a brief handover.

Crew-11 marks Endeavour’s sixth mission to the ISS, having previously flown missions like Demo-2, Crew-2, Crew-6Crew-8, and Axiom Mission 1. It is also SpaceX’s 11th operational astronaut mission for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

==================

SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket, topped with the Crew Dragon Endeavor spacecraft launched from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center(KSC) on Aug. 1, at 15:43 UTC. Falcon 9's first stage booster(B1094), returned to Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, adjacent to KSC, about eight minutes after liftoff; while the Dragon spacecraft separated from the second stage and began its journey to the International Space Station (ISS), carrying 4 Crew-11 astronauts.

The four astronauts aboard are headed to the International Space Station (ISS) for a roughly six-month mission. The Crew-11 team consists of NASA astronauts Zena Cardman (mission commander) and Mike Fincke (pilot), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov, both mission specialists. This is Cardman’s and Platonov’s first spaceflight, while Fincke is on his fourth mission and Yui his second, having previously spent 142 days on the ISS in 2015.

Cardman was originally slated for the Crew-9 mission but was reassigned due to that mission launching with only two astronauts to accommodate the return of NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams. Their Boeing Starliner spacecraft, which launched in June 2024, faced propulsion issues, leaving them without a dedicated return ride.

After Endeavor docks with the ISS, scheduled for 0700 UTC 3 on August 2, Crew-11 will relieve the Crew-10 astronauts, who launched in March 2025. The two crews will overlap for about a week to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities, including science experiments and station operations. Crew-10 will then return to Earth aboard their Crew Dragon spacecraft.

Crew-11’s mission includes conducting experiments such as simulating lunar landings, studying plant cell division in microgravity, protecting astronaut eyesight, and producing human stem cells and nutrients on-demand. These experiments aim to advance scientific knowledge and support future space exploration.

NASA is considering extending Crew Dragon missions, including Crew-11, from six to eight months, according to ISS Program Manager Dana Weigel. This potential extension is under review to optimize mission objectives and station operations.

During their stay, Crew-11 will also witness the arrival of the Roscosmos Soyuz MS-28 mission in November 2025, carrying NASA astronaut Chris Williams and two cosmonauts, as well as a Northrop Grumman resupply spacecraft. These events will support the ISS’s continuous operations and resource needs.

Crew-11 is SpaceX’s eleventh operational mission under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, which also included Boeing’s Starliner Crew Flight Test in June 2024, making it the twelfth flight overall. The program reflects NASA’s strategy to partner with private companies to maintain a consistent human presence on the ISS. This is also SpaceX Dragon's 19th human spaceflight mission.

Today's Falcon 9 first stage landing Zone, LZ-1, located at Launch Complex 13, will be leased to private companies Phantom Space and Vaya Space, as announced by the U.S. Space Force in March 2023. SpaceX can still request landing zone capabilities at its own launch complexes, subject to an extensive evaluation process, and continues to operate another landing site, Landing Zone 2, at the Cape.

Crew-11 launch was delayed by a day due to a scrub on July 31 caused by intruding clouds with just a minute left in the countdown.

Spain Defeats Argentina 1-0 To Win FIFA World Cup Presented By Trump

Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup, securing their second title with a 106th-minute extra-time goal by Ferran Torres. The match, held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, was a tense affair dominated by Spanish possession, with Argentina failing to register a single shot on goal throughout the 120 minutes.

The deadlock was broken when Nico Williams headed a pass toward the goal, allowing substitute Torres to score the decisive winner early in the second half of extra time.

Argentina's chances were severely hampered after Enzo Fernández received a red card in the 93rd minute, forcing them to play with 10 men for the entire extra-time period. Despite a record-breaking performance by Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, who made 11 saves, he could not stop Torres's strike.

Lionel Messi was visibly emotional after the match, shedding tears as he received his runner-up medal in what may be his final World Cup appearance. Immediately after the final whistle, some frustrated Argentinian players were also seen harassing some Spanish players as they celebrated. Not in the spirit of fair play.

The trophy presentation featured U.S. President Donald Trump and FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who presented the medals and the World Cup trophy on the field.

The event included a 30-minute halftime break with show featuring performances by Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, BTS, and others, marking the first time a World Cup final featured such an extensive musical intermission.

Andrew Tate, Tristan Arrested In Miami, To Face Charges In UK

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Miami on Saturday, pursuant to a sealed extradition warrant issued by the United Kingdom. The arrests follow the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) approving 38 new charges, bringing the total against the brothers to 59.

Andrew faces 42 charges, including rape and trafficking, while Tristan faces 17. The alleged offenses span from July 2010 to August 2017 and involve seven total alleged victims, with the new charges stemming from four additional victims reported to Bedfordshire Police.

The specific additional charges authorized by the CPS include rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and offenses relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

Andrew is charged with seven further counts of rape, three counts of trafficking facilitation, three counts of assault, and 19 counts related to indecent images and extreme pornography.

Tristan faces one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of facilitating trafficking. The U.S. Department of Justice confirmed the arrests were made in accordance with extradition treaties, and the brothers are expected to appear in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida early in the week following the arrest.

The Tate brothers, dual U.S. and British citizens, rose to prominence as controversial "manosphere" influencers promoting hypermasculinity. They previously faced charges in Romania for organized crime, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation, which were dropped in 2023. They returned to the United States in early 2025 after Romanian travel restrictions were lifted.

The Tate brothers' attorney, Joseph McBride, has denied all allegations, calling the arrests a "political hit" and stating they are innocent. McBride also noted that the both were held in solitary confinement as they await extradition proceedings, which they are expected to contest.

Assistant Chief Constable Karena Thomas of Bedfordshire Police said in statement: "Officers from our major crime unit have been working closely alongside the Crown Prosecution Service and both national and international law enforcement agencies as part of this complex investigation. There is no place for male violence against women and girls, and we will continue to tirelessly to support victims and investigate all reports made to us."

England Beats France 6-4, In Classic FIFA World Cup Third-place Playoff

What a staggering, chaotic classic! England secured the 2026 FIFA World Cup third-place spot—claiming the bronze medal—with a breathless 6-4 victory over France at Miami Stadium in Florida. Spain will take on Argentina for the final match late Sunday at the New York New Jersey Stadium, to decide the tournament's champions.

Coach Thomas Tuchel's England side blindsided the French right from the opening whistle. Operating with clinical intensity, they effectively put the match beyond standard expectations by racing into a commanding 4-0 lead before the break.

Declan Rice opened the floodgates almost immediately, shocking the French backline in the second minute. Then in the 17th minute, Ezri Konsa doubled the advantage off a set piece. In the 37th and 46th minute just befoire half time break, Bukayo Saka took total control of the half, slotting home two goals in quick succession to firmly establish a four-goal cushion.

The French fought back in the second half. Coach Didier Deschamps made drastic changes at half-time, deploying four substitutions—including bringing on Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola—which totally flipped the script. France woke up and initiated a blistering comeback that turned the game into end-to-end chaos.

Kylian Mbappé pulled one back just after the restart in the 48th minute. Super-sub Bradley Barcola made it 4-2 in the 54th minute, breathing immense belief back into the Les Bleus squad. In the 66th minute Mbappé struck again for his second of the match, drawing France within a single goal at 4-3.

With the game hanging completely in the balance, both teams traded punches in a frantic final ten minutes. Bukayo Saka coolly stepped up to slot home a vital penalty kick in the 87th minute, securing his hat-trick and giving England a 5-3 lead.

Dembélé clawed it back to 5-4 at 96th minute, deep into stoppage time, setting up a nervy final sequence.

Jude Bellingham finalized the historic scoreline, putting the exclamation point on a 6-4 victory with a brilliant late goal in the 98th minute.

In the Golden boot race, Despite the loss, Mbappé's dynamic brace pushed him to 10 goals for the tournament, putting him two clear of Argentina's Lionel Messi (8 goals) and three ahead of Bellingham (7 goals) heading into the final matchday.

Both teams were heavily tipped to reach the main event. France entered their semi-final match as heavy favorites before being upset 2-0 by a masterful Spain side. England, meanwhile, suffered heartbreak after leading Argentina late into their semi-final, only to see the defending champions overturn the scoreline to win 2-1.
