Cybertruck Explosion Suspect's Manifesto Found By Police; Ex-girlfriend Shares Text Message From Him With FBI

Las Vegas police found two letters in the Cybertruck left behind by Matthew Livelsberger, the suspect in the Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion outside Trump Hotel.

These letters contained statements suggesting that the incident was not meant to be a terrorist attack but rather a "wake-up call" for what he perceived as weak leadership and a country he described as "terminally ill" and heading towards collapse.

Podcaster Shawn Ryan claimed he is going into hiding following the release of his most recent episode where he shares an email allegedly sent by Livelsberger before the Cybertruck explosion incident. Guest Sam Shoemate said he was sent an email on Tuesday from Livelsberger.

"On December 31st, Sam received an email allegedly from Matthew Livelsberger -- who would be named as the perpetrator in the detonation of a Tesla Cybertruck at Trump Tower the following day," Ryan said on the podcast.

Here is what the email said, according to Shoemate:

"In case I do not make it to my decision point or on to the Mexico border I am sending this now. Please do not release this until 1JAN and keep my identity private until then.

"First off I am not under duress or hostile influence or control. My first car was a 2006 Black Ford Mustang V6 for verification.

"What we have been seeing with 'drones' is the operational use of gravitic propulsion systems powered aircraft by most recently China in the east coast, but throughout history, the US. Only we and China have this capability. Our OPEN location for this activity in the box is below.

"China has been launching them from the Atlantic from submarines for years, but this activity recently has picked up. As of now, it is just a show of force and they are using it similar to how they used the balloon for sigint and isr, which are also part of the integrated coms system. There are dozens of those balloons in the air at any given time.

"The so what is because of the speed and stealth of these unmanned AC, they are the most dangerous threat to national security that has ever existed. They basically have an unlimited payload capacity and can park it over the WH if they wanted. It's checkmate.

"USG needs to give the history of this, how we are employing it and weaponizing it, how China is employing them and what the way forward is. China is poised to attack anywhere in the east coast

"I've been followed for over a week now from likely homeland or FBI, and they are looking to move on me and are unlikely going to let me cross into Mexico, but won't because they know I am armed and I have a massive VBIED. I've been trying to maintain a very visible profile and have kept my phone and they are definitely digitally tracking me.

"I have knowledge of this program and also war crimes that were covered up during airstrikes in Nimruz province Afghanistan in 2019 by the admin, DoD, DEA and CIA. I conducted targeting for these strikes of over 125 buildings (65 were struck because of CIVCAS) that killed hundreds of civilians in a single day. USFORA continued strikes after spotting civilians on initial ISR, it was supposed to take 6 minutes and scramble all aircraft in CENTCOM. The UN basically called these war crimes, but the administration made them disappear. I was part of that cover-up with USFORA and Agent [Redacted] of the DEA. So I don't know if my abduction attempt is related to either. I worked with GEN Millers 10 staff on this as well as the response to Bala Murghab. AOB-S Commander at the time. [Redacted] can validate this.

"You need to elevate this to the media so we avoid a world war because this is a mutually assured destruction situation.

"For vetting my Linkedin is Matt Berg or Matthew Livelsberger, an active duty 18Z out of 1-10 my profile is public. I have an active TSSCI with UAP USAP access."

Additionally, one of the letters mentioned his intent to "cleanse my mind of the brothers I've lost and relieve myself of the burden of the lives I took," indicating a personal motive related to his experiences as a soldier.

In another development, Livelsberger's ex-girlfriend reportedly shared with the FBI, text messages she received from him just days ago playfully bragging about his rented Tesla Cybertruck.

Alicia Arritt and Livelsberger dated from 2018 to 2021, but she told The Denver Gazette it was odd he reached out three days before the New Year's Day explosion outside President-elect Trump's Las Vegas hotel.

They reportedly met in 2018 after Livelsberger divorced his first wife, Sara. But Arrit said she and Livelsberger stopped talking after a painful breakup in 2021, and they had both moved on.

"I just want everyone to know that Matt was the kindest man I ever knew," Arritt reportedly said, explaining that Livelsberger bought her a house when her mother became ill. "He got me through a difficult time."

The FBI showed up at Arritt's door in Colorado Springs the evening of New Year's Day after tracking messages from Livelsberger’s account, but she was at work, according to the Gazette.

FBI agents returned Thursday morning and met with her at 9 a.m., she said.

She showed the agents how Livelsberger messaged her Dec. 29 photos and music videos of the gold Cybertruck he rented.

"I rented a Tesla Cybertruck. It’s the shit," he wrote her at 9 a.m. Sunday, according to the Gazette.

"It matches my Kobe 2 shoes I had when I was little," Livelsberger added. "Google them.

"I feel like Batman or halo."

Arritt said she was unaware of Livelsberger's plans to allegedly shoot himself to death inside the Cybertruck loaded with explosives moments before it detonated outside Trump's hotel in Las Vegas New Year's morning.

Arritt described Livelsberger as an honorable man who loved his country and that she knew him to be politically conservative. Livelsberger's family has reportedly described him as a supporter of Trump.

She also said Livelsberger had two surgeries on his back after serving as a paratrooper. She said she noticed a change in him in 2019 after he returned from a tour in the Middle East with a traumatic brain injury. She said Livelsberger became isolated, explaining she thinks his depressive symptoms went untreated because "it’s not acceptable to seek treatment when someone is in Special Forces."

They broke up partly because "he wanted to focus on his career," she said.

"I don’t know if I could have stopped him," she reportedly said.

Arritt previously served as an Army nurse at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.

Livelsberger was a Green Beret who served 19 years in the military, mostly at Fort Carson and on assignment in Germany.

After their three-year relationship, Livelsberger remarried. His second wife, Jennifer Davis, reportedly broke up with Livelsberger six days before the attack. She reportedly accused him of cheating on her around the time she gave birth to their infant daughter. He left their home in Colorado Springs the day after Christmas after a fight.

Ex-FBI Director James Comey Indicted By Grand Jury For Obstruction Of Justice Lying To Congress

A federal grand jury on Thursday,  in Northern Virginia indicted former FBI Director James Comey on two felony counts: one for making false statements to Congress and one for obstruction of justice. Each charge carries a potential penalty of up to 5–10 years in prison.

These charges arise from Comey's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2020, during which prosecutors allege he provided misleading information about his handling of the FBI's investigation into contacts between Russia and Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

The indictment was unsealed late Thursday, marking a significant escalation in the long-simmering feud between Comey and President Trump, who was re-elected in 2024. The trial date has not been set, but it could extend into 2026.

Comey served as FBI Director from 2013 until his abrupt firing by Trump in May 2017, amid the early stages of the Russia investigation. Trump has long accused Comey of orchestrating a "witch hunt" against him, blaming the former director for the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whose probe dominated much of Trump's first term.

The charges stem from Comey's 2020 congressional testimony, where he reportedly downplayed the extent of his communications with Trump regarding the Russia probe and his role in leaking memos about those interactions.

The case gained momentum earlier this year when the Secret Service interrogated Comey over a social media post showing seashells arranged as "86 47"—a reference interpreted by Trump allies as a coded assassination threat against the president (the 47th). Comey deleted the post, calling it a "restaurant-themed joke" about removing Trump from office.

Responding in a video message, Comey declared: "I'm not afraid.. I'm innocent. Let's have a trial."

President Trump celebrated the indictment on social media, posting: "Today he was indicted by a Grand Jury on two felony counts for various illegal and unlawful acts. He has been so bad for our Country, for so many years... One of the worst human beings this Country has ever been exposed to." Supporters echoed this sentiment, with conservative commentator Jesse Kelly warning that the trial's location—potentially in Washington, D.C.—could lead to an acquittal due to liberal bias of the jury pool.

'I Control Donald Trump:' Netanyahu Brags To World Leaders -Tucker Carlson

Popular American commentator, journalist and conservative firebrand Tucker Carlson has publicly accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of boasting to foreign leaders that he controls both President Donald Trump and U.S. foreign policy, calling the situation "humiliating" for America.

The Tucker Carlson Show host made these remarks during a recent appearance on the System Update podcast hosted by Glenn Greenwald, where he also criticized U.S. support for Israel's war in Gaza and argued that American leaders are being forced into actions detrimental to the nation's interests.

Carlson stated he has direct knowledge of Netanyahu's claims based on conversations with people who heard him say it, asserting that the Israeli leader is "running around" the Middle East and telling people point blank, "I control the United States. I control Donald Trump."

The conservative firebrand emphasized that his criticism is directed at U.S. leaders who, in his view, are allowing the country to be subjected to a "humiliation ritual" due to foreign influence, arguing that this undermines the fundamental relationship between citizens and their government.

Carlson described Israel's military actions in Gaza as an "expansion" and dismissed accusations of bigotry against him, stating he is not hurt by such labels because he knows he is not a bigot.

The conservative commentator has faced backlash from Jewish Zionists, for his remarks at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service, where he recounted a story likening Kirk’s murder to the crucifixion of Jesus, including a scene of men in a lamplit room eating hummus plotting to kill Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthews 26: 1-5).

Critics, including Jewish groups and Israeli officials, have condemned the speech as an antisemitic dogwhistle, arguing that the reference to hummus—a modern Middle Eastern food—was a deliberate and offensive trope implying Jewish involvement in Kirk’s assassination.

Carlson defended his remarks in the System Update podcast interview., pointing out that he categorically and publicly makes his views about Israel and Netanyahu known, and doesn't need to imply it in a speech about Kirk.

While prominent Zionist and Jewish neoconservative voices criticized the speech, many MAGA-aligned conservative movement’s figures, including Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and former Congressman and OANN host Matt Gaetz praised Carlson's speech.

The controversy underscores the growing concern on the American right over Israeli influence on U.S. foreign policy especially in the Middle East. Growing number of conservatives -- traditionally allied with the Israeli right -- have started in recent years, started questioning the policies of Netanyahu's government in the region since the break out of the ongoing genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza. "It is America First, not Israel First," is a common meme on social media among right-leaning critics of Trump's bizarrely submissive pro-Israel policies.

KA-03: ULA Atlas V Launches 27 Amazon Project Kuiper Internet Satellites

A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 551 rocket successfully launched 27 Project Kuiper broadband satellites into low Earth orbit on Thursday, Sept, 25, at 1209 UTC from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The Atlas V 551 rocket, featuring five GEM 63 solid rocket boosters and a single RL10C-1-1 engine on its Centaur upper stage, lifted off on schedule. The launch window was 29 minutes long, and favorable weather conditions, with a 95% chance of acceptable conditions, were confirmed by the U.S. Space Force's 45th Weather Squadron.

The payload fairing, a 23-meter composite shroud, was jettisoned after ascent through the atmosphere. The Centaur upper stage's main engine cutoff (MECO) was confirmed, and the 27 satellites were successfully deployed at an initial altitude of 450 kilometers(km).

The satellites will now be gradually raised to their operational orbit of 630 km by Amazon's mission operations center in Redmond, Washington.

The Kuiper 3 (or KA-03) mission marks the fifth launch for Amazon's Project Kuiper constellation and the third batch of satellites delivered by ULA on the Atlas V rocket. The launch was part of a morning doubleheader, following a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch carrying 28 Starlink satellites just hours earlier.

This launch is the third of nine planned Atlas V missions for Amazon's Project Kuiper constellation, with the remaining five scheduled before transitioning to the next-generation Vulcan rocket.

ULA is delivering more than half of the constellation's 3,200 satellites under the world's largest commercial launch agreement. These spacecraft will be lofted on more than 80 launches performed by a variety of rockets — SpaceX's Falcon 9, Arianespace's Ariane 6, Blue Origin's New Glenn and ULA's Atlas V and Vulcan Centaur.

Thursday's successful launch brings Amazon's total number of in-orbit Project Kuiper satellites to 129. Project Kuiper faces competition from SpaceX's Starlink, which operates the world's largest satellite constellation with over 8,000 satellites as of September 2025.
