Republican Leaders Demand Biden's Physical Appearance Amid Health Speculations After His Withdrawal From 2024 Presidential Race

President Joe Biden in stunning X posts Sunday, announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his replacement on the Democratic ticket to face former president Donald Trump in November's elections.

"My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term," Biden wrote in a follow-up X post. "My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats -- it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this."

Accepting Biden's endorsement, Harris wrote on on X: "On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as President of the United States and for his decades of service to our country. I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination."

In a statement posted on X, former President Obama didn't endorse Harris. "We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead. But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges," he wrote in a letter.

But Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama were among the scores of top Democrats praising Biden for withdrawing from the race. "Joe Biden has been one of America’s most consequential presidents, as well as a dear friend and partner to me. Today, we’ve also been reminded - again - that he’s a patriot of the highest order." Obamas wrote.

This decision came amid intense pressure from Democrat Party billionaire elites and politicians and party leaders, who had been urging him to step aside due to concerns about his apparent cognitive decline and perceived inability to mount a competitive campaign against Republican challenger and former president Donald Trump.

Democrat party leaders and their left-wing media allies panicked after Biden's performance in recent debate against Trump. Left-wing media talking heads and Democrat party leaders could no longer avoid addressing the president's cognitive decline which critics have accused them of covering up for years.

A concerted campaign to oust Biden was joined by Hollywood stars and billionaires including far-left tech entrepreneur Reid Hoffman who had to make a public apology after the 2020 elections for running a fake news propaganda operation across the country to sway voters in favor of Biden. Alex Soros, the son of controversial billionaire globalist George Soros, had also reportedly withdrawn his support for Biden’s campaign in recent weeks.

The controversy surrounding Biden’s withdrawal has sparked debate within the Democratic Party about the importance of a competitive nomination process and the role of donors in shaping the party’s direction.

Deposing a candidate elected by party's primary voters, over 14 million people, is a coup against Biden, and an undemocratic move, bypassing the usual nomination process, critics say. And many see his announcement made on X as bizarre and suspicious.

Opposition Republican Party leaders have called for Biden to address the nation in person and on camera, as speculations and conspiracy theories run wild on social media, with many saying the president is dead. "Who is running the country?" many Americans on social media are wondering.

Reacting to Biden's announcement Sunday, Trump wrote in a Truth Social post: "Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve - And never was!"

Trump added that "we will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly."

The third in the line of succession (after the president and vice president), and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson wrote on X: "At this unprecedented juncture in American history, we must be clear about what just happened. The Democrat Party forced the Democrat nominee off the ballot, just over 100 days before the election. Having invalidated the votes of more than 14 million Americans who selected Joe Biden to be the Democrat nominee for president, the self-proclaimed ‘party of democracy’ has proven exactly the opposite. The party’s prospects are no better now with Vice President Kamala Harris, who co-owns the disastrous policy failures of the Biden Administration. As second in command and a completely inept border czar, Harris has been a gleeful accomplice — not only in the destruction of American sovereignty, security, and prosperity, but also in the largest political coverup in U.S. history. She has known for as long as anyone of his incapacity to serve. Regardless of the chaos in the current White House, our adversaries around the globe should be reminded that the U.S. Congress, the U.S. military, and the American people are fully prepared and committed to defend our interests both at home and abroad. If Joe Biden is not fit to run for President, he is not fit to serve as President. He must resign the office immediately. November 5 cannot arrive soon enough."

Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert wrote on X: "I demand proof of life from Joe Biden today by 5:00pm. He needs to get in front of some camera and discuss if he’s aware that he dropped out. Hiding is completely unacceptable."

The Democrat Party will formally nominate Harris at their convention in Chicago next month, to face Trump in November's elections.

US Military Strikes Iran For The 10th Consecutive Night, As Mediators Push For 10-day Ceasefire To Allow Transit Through The Strait Of Hormuz

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) at 2000 UTC Monday, initiated a major wave of airstrikes across Iran whic lasted five hours, concluding around 0100 UTC, Tuesday, marking the 10th consecutive day of high-intensity U.S. air operations against Iranian targets amid mouting U.S. casualties.

Operations targeted Iranian military command-and-control centers, air defense systems, coastal surveillance radars, naval assets, communications networks, and missile/drone launch sites, according to CENTCOM, stating the primary objective is to degrade Iranian military capabilities used to disrupt commercial shipping and enforce a naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.

U.S. officials reported nearly 100 U.S. service members have sustained varying degrees of injuries since the current campaign intensified earlier in July, with three U.S. troops killed in Jordan.

In response to the expanding U.S. campaign, Iranian military forces and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) units launched widespread counter-strikes across the Persian Gulf region, targeting U.S. bases and host infrastructure across Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait using ballistic missiles and attack drones.

Jordan air defenses intercepted multiple incoming missiles over the port of Aqaba. Iranian strikes targeted utility infrastructure in Kuwait, including a power and water desalination plant, causing localized blackouts and fires. And nationwide air-raid sirens sounded as air defense units attempted to intercepted incoming drones and missiles aimed at facilities hosting U.S. assets.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared Monday that the Islamic Republic considers itself in an "all-out war" against the United States, warning citizens to prepare for sustained strikes.

Despite the major escalation, international mediators—including regional Gulf partners and European diplomats—have been actively attempting to broker a 10-day temporary ceasefire to allow human-interest corridors and secure critical energy shipping routes.

Mediators including Pakistan and Qatar reportedly presented Washington D.C and Tehran, the 10-day ceasefire that will open both the southern and northern routes on the Strait of Hormuz, while talks continue on a permanent transit management framework which could allow Iran to collect "reasonable service fees" modeled on the Strait of Malacca, or the fees could flow into a joint fund involving the International Maritime Organization.

However, the crumbling of crumbling of earlier interim agreements and continued attacks on commercial oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz have repeatedly stalled these diplomatic efforts, as the level of trust between both sides is at all time. An Iranian spokesman Monday, confirmed receiving a proposal but gave no details.

Tensions surged in July when Iran after Iran attacked some ships on the Strait of Hiormuz, accusing the U.S. of breaking the meomrandum of understanding signed by both countries, by escorting commercial vessels through the Omani corridor on the strait without coordinating with Iran.

Following Iranian attacks on international oil tankers, President Donald Trump signed off on aggressive CENTCOM operations to enforce freedom of navigation. The death of U.S. personnel in Jordan triggered multi-day blitzes against IRGC coastal batteries and small-boat fleets, drawing direct counter-attacks against Gulf states that host American installations.

Keir Starmer Resigns As Andy Burnham Becomes UK's 7th Prime Minister In A Decade

Keir Starmer formally resigned as U.K. Prime Minister on Monday, ending a tenure of 745 days marked by a 2024 landslide victory followed by significant political turbulence and election defeats. Standing outside 10 Downing Street, Starmer delivered an emotional farewell speech declaring "my work is done" and asserting that Britain is now "stronger and fairer" than when he took office, before traveling to Buckingham Palace to tender his resignation to King Charles III.

Andy Burnham immediately succeeded Starmer as the U.K.'s seventh prime minister in a decade after meeting with the King in a ceremony known as "kissing hands" to form a government.

The former left-wing Mayor of Greater Manchester, dubbed the "King of the North," secured the Labour Party leadership unchallenged with nominations from 379 lawmakers following Starmer's announcement in June that he would step down. Burnham's ascent required him to first win a seat in Parliament via the Makerfield by-election, a necessary step as prime ministers are traditionally sitting members of the House of Commons.

Burnham pledged a "circuit breaker for Britain" in his inaugural address, promising radical changes to reverse political centralization and economic privatization trends dating back to the 1980s.

The new prime minister has said he's committed to ending rough sleeping and addressing the cost-of-living crisis; re-industrializing the country and placing essential services under stronger public control; decentralizing power to local communities and ordinary people; maintaining steadfast support for Ukraine while navigating relations with U.S. President Donald Trump; and delivering a comprehensive 10-year plan for the nation later in the year.

US Troop Killed By Unexploded Ordnance In Iraq, As CENTCOM Strikes Iranian Targets For The 9th Consecutive Night

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the recovery of unidentified remains in Jordan from an Iranian attack on July 17 that killed two U.S. service members and left one missing. Separately, a U.S. service member was killed in action on July 18 in northern Iraq during the controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian drone, with a second service member sustaining minor injuries.

Following an Iranian ballistic missile and drone strike on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base (MSAB) in Jordan on July 17, two U.S. service members were confirmed dead and one was listed as missing. Four others were injured. On Sunday, CENTCOM search-and-recovery teams located unidentified remains at the strike location. Forensic examination is underway to verify whether the remains belong to the missing service member.

The conflict, which began in February 2026, has resulted in 17 U.S. service member deaths and over 430 injuries.

The report comes on the ninth consecutive evening of U.S. airstrikes against Iran, launched to "swiftly punish" Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces responsible for the Jordan attack. The strikes targeted Iranian coastal surveillance, air defense systems, and missile storage facilities.

Reports indicate U.S. strikes hit IRGC-operated Tabriz Missile Field in East Azerbaijan Province of Northwestern Iran, and the under-construction Darkhovin nuclear power plant, though the IAEA states no nuclear material was present.

"They've got very little left-they've got some missiles, they've got some drones, they've got some manufacturing ability, not much. Uhh we control the Strait," President Trump told reporters after his attendance at the FIFA World Cup final match between Spain and Argentina in New Jersey. "They don't control anything. So we'll see what happens but we hit em very hard again tonight, and we did that it honor of the...probably 3, it's probably 3, as opposed to 2....great patriots."

IRGC has already started retaliatory strikes targeting U.S. bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq. U.S offiials warned Americans living in Bahrain and Jordan of specific threats of some planned Iranian attacks.
