American left-wing Actress and singer Selena Gomez, 32, has deleted an Instagram video of herself crying over the deportations of criminal illegal aliens from the United States, which was posted in response to the recent immigration crackdown by the President Donald Trump administration.
The deleted video featured Gomez crying and saying “All my people are getting attacked, the children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry, I wish I could do something but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise.”
The actress faced backlash from critics who slammed her for crying for criminals instead of their American victims. Some of the criminal aliens rounded up over the weekend have been convicted of various violent crimes including the rape of children.
Gomez has also faced criticism from various political figures, including Trump’s border czar Tom Homan, who questioned her tears for the deported individuals while asking where her tears were for the victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens.
After deleting the original video, Gomez posted another Instagram story saying “Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people,” which has also been deleted
