President-elect Donald Trump hosted Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for dinner at the Trump International Golf Course in Miami Sunday night.
Sara is currently residing in Miami for 20 days as her husband testifies in his ongoing corruption case in Israel.
Netanyahu's son Yair has also been living in an expensive apartment in Miami where he moved to earlier in 2023. The 33-year-old has been criticized for staying in the U.S. while Israel is involved in a devastating war against the Palestinians.
Since elected on November 5, Trump has hosted many dignitaries at his Mar-a-lago home in Miami, including Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who visited the president-elect over the weekend, for talks following Trump's threat to impose tariffs on Canadian goods.
Trump recently announced a potential 25% tariff on imports from both Canada and Mexico, aimed at addressing what he perceives as issues with drugs, particularly fentanyl, and illegal immigration across the borders. Both leaders described the meeting as productive.
