Tampa police announced Monday, the arrests of 3 suspects in connection with the murder of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio (real name: Charles Jones) during a shooting on June 23, at a Tampa Holiday Inn on Fowler Avenue. Three others were injured during the carnage.
According to police, Monday, Jones was apparently trying to get a room at the hotel that fateful day in June, after he was kicked out of an Airbnb while celebrating his 26th birthday. The rapper posted his location online multiple times before the shooting.
The suspects, members of rival Jacksonville gangs, followed Jones from place to place before opening fire on his car at the Holiday Inn.
Three of the suspects -- Sean Gathright, 18, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21 -- who allegedly planned and carried out the murder, were arrested in Jacksonville.
Additionally, Rashad Murphy, 30, and Davion Murphy, 27, have warrants out for their arrest.
The suspects were charged with premeditated first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, according to police.
